Are the 360Xi consumables compatible with the COMBI Xi? The 360Xi consumables are compatible with the COMBI Xi, with the exception of NailScrew®.
Are the PPNXi consumables compatible with the COMBI Xi? The PPNXi 35mm x 3.4mm hardened twist nails are compatible with the COMBI Xi.
What are the advantages of gas nailing technology? Reliable and proven for over 30 years, gas technology offers many advantages for the user:
Comfort: Lightweight and balanced tool that also allows great freedom of movement (no cables, decompressors or air hoses).
Performance: In all weather conditions, from -15°C to +49°C. The gas dose is optimised according to the outside temperature.
Productivity: Fewer moving mechanical parts means less maintenance required and less risk of your tool being down.
How do I make sure I'm using the right probe with the right magazine? To ensure optimal use of the COMBI Xi, there are guide labels on the tool, magazines and inside the tool case to help you identify the correct nose probe/magazine combination for the application to be carried out. For more help, click the tutorial video link https://youtu.be/PyPIuzealLY
What should I do if I make a mistake in the probe/magazine assembly or if I use the wrong consumables? We recommend that you refer to the instructions on the nailer and in the tool case before you start using the nailer. This will help you identify the correct nose probe and magazine to use depending on your application. If you experience any problems, stop using the nailer, unload the nails from the magazine and refer to the instructions inside the case.
What happens if I exceed the recommended number of shots? The number of shots is given as an indication to ensure an optimal level of performance of the Xi nailers. This information also allows you to identify the nailer in the Xi range best suited to your activity.
When and how to maintain the COMBI Xi? A light on the nailer indicates when maintenance is required. It is recommended to perform maintenance every 50,000 shots. Maintenance instructions are detailed in the user manual. A cleaning kit (code 013690) is available for sale. Contact your usual distributor to obtain one.
