FAQs

How much grease do I need to use per tool?

One sachet is the optimum amount to grease one tool.

Can I use the Paslode Tool grease with my old 18ga and 16ga trim tools?

Yes – the Paslode Tool grease can replace the old oil lubrication that’s been used in the past. The tools needs to be thoroughly cleaned out to ensure there is minimum amounts of oil left in the tools to avoid it binding with the grease.

When should I lubricate my 18ga and 16ga trim tools?

As a general rule of thumb we recommend every 40,000 shots or after around 20 boxes of brads.

Can I use the Paslode Tool grease with other Paslode tools besides the trim tools?

Yes – you can use the Paslode Tool grease in our Xi & Ci tools (360Xi, PPNXi, Combi Xi. IM360Ci and PPN35Ci) as a lubricant replacement for oil in the tools. The lubrication frequency is the same as with the oil that is used today.
